The Premier Division of the Roscommon and District League is finely balanced with just three points separating the top six teams with four series of matches played.

Leaders Ballaghaderreen F C were involved in a seven goal thriller at home to the current League Champions Moore United. Unfortunately for the home side they found themselves a goal behind at the final whistle. To Ward opened the scoring for Ballaghaderreen after twenty one minutes of play but Charles Nevin replied for Moore United shortly afterwards. Tom Ward scored his second following good work by Patrick Callaghan three minutes before half time but Jack Nevin levelled the game early in the second half. With twenty left to play Shane Dunning gave Moore a 3 – 2 lead but Danny Browne levelled the game when he converted a penalty kick. With four of the five minutes ofadded time remaining Jack Nevin went one better than his brother Charles when he scored the winner for Moore United.

In Division 1 Northern section Ballymoe F C are certain to gain promotion to the newly formed Division 1 following a 2 – 2 draw with Ballinagare / Manor at Ballymoe. Who will join Ballymoe is still up for grabs with the remaining teams all very close.
Ballinagare / Manor were the better side in the first half and Aaron Dowd scored for them with thirty played following a perfect cross from Jay Mc Carthy. Ballymoe levelled the game with six minutes left to play in the first half when James Connaughton scored following a corner kick.
Ballymoe started the second half well and took the lead when Damien Goggins scored with a fine volley from the edge of the penalty area . However the ever reliable Gerry Ward levelled the game with a well taken goal and while both teams had chances to take all three points a draw was a fair result.

The Glenamaddy side Glen Celtic had a 4 – 2 win over Cloonfad United at Cloonfad and both teams continue to battle for a promotion spot.
There was very little between the sides with Glen Celtic scoring two goals in the last couple of minutes.
Ryan Mc Hugh gave Glen Celtic a 1 – 0 lead with thirty one minutes played and Sean Burke levelled the game two minutes before half time. Neill Morris gave the home side a 2 -1 lead with seventy five played but Ryan Mc Hugh levelled the game with three minutes of normal time remaining. Cloonfad conceded an own goal and Ryan McHugh completed his hat trick at the end to secure all three points for Glen Celtic.

Dunmore Town beat Ballaghaderreen second side 2 -0 at Dunmore. Shane Davis scored great goal after a neat cross by Mark Connell and Seamus Culkeen added a second before half time with a fine solo effort.
