St. Francis win Masters League & Cup Double

St. Francis added the RDFL Masters Cup to their RDFL League title following a penalty shootout win over neighbour's St. Coman's.

Having secured the RDFL Umbro Masters League title with a narrow 1-0 win in the final against St. Coman's, St. Francis started as slight favourites in the RDFL Masters Cup Final.

Both teams deserve great credit for a wonderful game of football on the green carpet of Lecarrow. The game finished 2-2 with St. Francis coming out on top 4-2 following a penalty shootout. It was hard luck on St. Coman's FC who have had a tremendous season but there was no denying St. Francis on the day.
