RDFL ROUND UP 25/10/2021

Roscommon and District League Round Up.
As a result of Clubs from the Roscommon and District League requesting a free weekend only two games were played.
In the Premier Division Kilkerrin United moved into second place in the points table following a 3 – 0 win at home to Moylough . They are now two points behind Boyle Celtic but have a game more played. The winners got off to the perfect start when Brian Miskell scored in the first minute. Moylough battled back and were well in the game until the sixty sixth minute when Shane Walsh stretched the Kilkerrin lead with a neat lob over the Moylough keeper. The home side sealed the three points when David Madden took advantage of a quick break away to score a third.
In the Connacht Cup Premier side Dysart were very unlucky to be beaten 1 – 0 at home to the Mayo Premier Division side Fahy Rovers. The only goal of the game came by way of an own goal by a Dysart player.
