Ballinasloe advance to Connacht Cup Final

Congratulations to Ballinasloe Town on reaching The Connacht Cup Final after an extra time and penalties win over Mervue United.
Liam Lynch gave Ballinalsoe the lead on 26 minutes after being set up by Darragh Concannon. Mervue leveled the game after 73 minutes through a Barry Moran free-kick. With no further goals the game went to penalties and Padraig Maloney proved the Ballinasloe hero as he saved all three Mervue penalties.
Ballinasloe will now face Athenry in the decider in a few weeks time.
