Castlerea Celtic moved into second place in the Raftery's Oakland Hotel Premier Division of the Roscommon and District League following a 3 - 2 win over Boyle Celtic at Boyle. Niall Higgins gave the winners a 1 - 0 lead after four minutes of play and Eoghan O'Connell added a second twenty seven minutes later. Michael Corrigan pulled a goal back before half time but Ronan Curran restored the two goal advantage within a minute of the restart. Niall O'Donoghue pulled a second back for Boyle with five left to play but the failed to get an equaliser.

Moore United beat Cloonfad United 2 - 1 at Moore. Andy Nevin gave Moore United a 1 - 0 lead after twenty four minutes and Dylan Ruane leveled the game with fifty five played. Just when the game looked like finishing level Liam Ryan volleyed a stunning goal for Moore United with the last kick of the game.

Shiven Rovers beat Dysart 1 - 0 at Newbridge. Michael Collins scored the only goal of the game just before half time.

Skyvalley Rovers came from behind to beat Strokestown United 2 - 1 at Taughmaconnell. Garry Conellan gave Strokestown an early lead but David Grehan had the sodes level at the break. Grehan added the winner in the last minute of the game.

Moylough '79 march on towards winning the Norio's Dovision One title following a 2 - 0 win over Ballaghaderreen at Ballaghaderreen. Dermott Hughes game them a half time lead when he scored direct from a corner kick and Marcus Finn added a second after the break.

Cam Celtic beat Ahascragh United 2 - 1 at Ahascragh. Keith McLoughlin scored in each half for the winners.

The Castleplunket side CP Ajax beat Ballinasloe Town 1 - 0 at Ballinasloe. Daniel Connolly scored the only goal of the game to keep his side on track for runners up spot.

In a local derby game at Rahara the home side lost 3 - 1 to St John's Athletic. Derek Doyle gave the winners a two goal advantage at half time. Tommy Hurley converted a penalty kick before Vando pulled a goal back for Rahara Rovers.

In the only game played in Division Two, the Glenamaddy side Glen Celtic beat Manor United 1 - 0 at Manor. Kieran Trautt scored the winner in the first minute of the game.
