Ballinasloe Town and Castlerea Celtic had very impressive wins in the fourth round of the FAI Junior Cup over fancied Sligo Superleague sides on Sunday. Ballinasloe (pictured below) travelled to Sligo and battled all the way to secure a 1 – 0 win in extra time against a fancied MCR side.Aidan Dooney scored the all important goal for Ballinasloe Town.
Castlerea Celtic (pictured above) beat Merville united 6 – 2 at Castlrea after giving an impressive display and like Ballinasloe Town they are in the draw for round five. Eoghan o connell opened the scoring with Darren Clabby and Ronan Curran added two each and Nathan Bligh completed the scoring for the winners.

Skyvalley Rovers and Shiven Rovers drew 2 – 2 At Onagh Park Taughmaconnell. Skyvalley Rovers were the better side in the first half snd took the lead after fifteen. Good play on the wing and a good cross from Adrian Mannion created on opening for Callum O Brien and he made no mistake from close range. The same two players gave a repeat performance before half time to leave the home side 2 -0 ahead at the break. The Newbridge side were much better after the break and Jack Gavin, son of the former great Sean, pulled a goal back early in the second half. With five minutes of normal time remaining a Keith Murphy cross was touched to the Skyvalley Rovers net by Joe Hunt.
Moore United came from behind on two ocasions to take a point from their home game against Ballymoe FC. Daniel Malone and Dean Muldoon scored for Ballymoe with Shane Pettit and a very late strike from Eoin Forde salvaging a point for Moore United.
Moylough 79 beat Boyle Celtic 4 – 2 at Moylough. The game was pretty evenly balanced before Moylough pulled away near the end. Dean Donnellan scored two and James Foley and Marcus Finn one each for the winners.Shane Battles scored both goals for a young Boyle Celtic side.

In the Norios Division 1 Cloonfad United Ballaghaderreen and Rahara Rovers all closed the gap on leaders Dysart who were not in action.
Cloonfad united beat Roscommon United 3 – 1 at Roscommon. Ryan Merchant volleyed a superb opener for Cloonfad after thirteen minutes. Michael Mc Kay and Dean Lyons added two more before Vando pulled one back for the losers.
Ballaghaderreen werd somewhat flattered by their 9- 1 win over Dunmore Town at Ballaghaderreen. Danny Browne scored three and Ciann Mc Cann Leon Sinnott addex two each with Christopher Dunne and Bruce Holden adding one each.
In the Hanley Quarries sponsored Division 2 leaders Glen Celtic made it seven wins out of seven played when they beat Boyle Celtic 3 – 0 at Glenamaddy. Jason Connelly scored two and Michael Geraghty one for the winners

Manor United beat Cloonfads econd side 4 -1 at Cloonfad.Tom Ward scored two and Patrick Stokes and Patrick O Connor one each. Daryl Geraghty replied for the losers.
Ballinasloe town beat Moore United 3 – 1 at Ballinaslie. WARREN Coyne Paul Hickey and David Mc Donnell fir the winners and David Griffin for the losers scored the goals.
