Boyle Celtic go top of the Raftery's Oakland Hotel Premier Division of the Roscommon and District League following a 2 - 1 win over Castlerea Celtic at Castlerea.
In extreme weather conditions both teams battled it out to the end with little between the sides. Niall Higgins gave Castlerea Celtic a 1 - 0 with fifty two played and they looked like taking all three points until Michael Corrigan struck twice for Boyle Celtic in the last two minutes of play.

After dropping five points in their two previous games Ballymoe FC pulled off an impressive win away to Ballinasloe Town at Ballinasloe and as a result they are in second place in the points table. The visitors played with the wind in the first half and took the lead with thirty-minutes played. Their leading goalscorer Damien Goggins scored his sixteenth league goal of the season when he converted a penalty kick following a hand ball in the penalty area. Both teams created chances for the remainder of the game but Ballymoe held on to take all three points.

Title holders St. Peter's FC share second place following a 3 - 0 win over Moore United at Willow Park, Athlone. Paul Kelly saw a header cleared off the St. Peter's goal line before the home side opened the scoring through Mark Sherlock just before half time. The same player added a second with ten minutes left to play and Mark McConnell added a third near the end of the game.

It was a heart breaking day for Skyvalley Rovers as they were beaten at home by a single goal scored in the last few seconds of their game to give all three points to Kilkerrin United.
Both teams really played well and only some good goalkeeping and last ditch tackling kept the sides scoreless until the last minute. The top of the boot of the excellent Kilkerrin keeper Eoin Martin kept out an Emmet Kelly shot and when the ball was eventually cleared it was quickly played up to Aidan Kitt. His lay off reached Sean Collins who smashed the ball into the corner of the Skyvalley Rovers net.

Moylough '79 continue to lead the Norio's Takeaway Division One following a hard earned 3 - 0 win over Ballinasloe Town at Ballinasloe. The sides were level at the break but in the second half Aridas, Matthew Finn and Michael Kelly scored for a competent Moylough side.

The Castleplunket side CP Ajax remain firmly in second place, five points behind the leaders but with a game in hand. They beat Dunmore Town 3 - 0 at the League grounds, Lecarrow. The winners were on top throughout the game but some good saves from the Dunmore keeper kept the sides level until five minutes were played in the second half. Damien McDonagh finally beat the keeper with a good volley. Mike Kerrane added a second when he connected with a Daniel Connolly cross with seventy played and Brendan Kilkenny completed the scoring following good work by Dylan Jordan.

St. John's Athletic kept their hopes of promotion alive with a comfortable 4 - 0 win over Ballaghaderreen at Lecarrow. Ultan Kelly and Mattie Donnelly gave the winners a 2 - 0 half time lead. Christopher Hurley converted a penalty kick after the restart and Ultan Kelly scored his second before the end.

In the Killeen Sports Grounds Division Two, Castlerea Celtic go two points clear at the top of the table when they beat third placed Roscommon United 3 - 1 at Castlerea. The home side started at blistering pace but somewhat against the run of play a volley from Jamie Bracken found the Castlerea Celtic net. However a well struck shot from Eamon Greene had the sides level at half time. With just eight minutes remaining Jonathan Hester scored the deciding goal for the home side and three minutes later Joey Loughran sealed the points for Giles McDonagh's side.

Skyvalley Rovers and Shiven Rovers drew 1 - 1 at Onagh Park, Taughmaconnell. A stunning volley from Shane Harkin gave the Newbridge side a 1 - 0 half time lead. The Brazilian Pedro forced home an equalised in the second half following a well taken corner kick by Liam Creavin.

New sides St. Cuan's United and Manor United drew 3 - 3 in their game played at Castleblakeney. Jordan O'Leary scored two and James Ward one for St. Cuan's while Stephen McCormick, Fabio Henreque and Peter Flynn replied for Manor United.
